Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Bold Agent Studio website at boldagent.co, any inquiry you send us through it, and the information we handle if you hire us. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Bold Agent Studio, operated by Bold Agent LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming.

The BoldAgent software is a separate product with its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover it.

What you tell us

When you send an inquiry through the contact form, we receive:

• Your name and email address.
• Your phone number, company and current website, if you choose to add them.
• The services, budget range and timeline you pick.
• Your message.

What the form sends with it

• The page you sent the form from.
• The page that linked you to us, if your browser shares it.
• Any campaign tags in the link you used, such as utm_source.
• Your browser type.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, which we use to limit spam. We do not store the IP address itself.

The form also checks how long it was open and whether a hidden field was filled in. This helps us spot automated spam. We do not store the results.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs of requests to the site. These can include the time, the page requested, your IP address and your browser type.

We use your inquiry to reply to you, to scope and deliver any work we agree on, and to keep a record of our conversation.

We use the technical details to limit spam and to see which page an inquiry came from.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

If you hire us, we also handle information about the project and the business side of it:

• Your business name and billing details, and the proposals and invoices we send you.
• The content and files you give us for your site, such as text, photos and logos.
• Payment records. Your payment details are collected by the payment provider you use (PayPal), under that provider’s own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.

We use this to deliver the project, send invoices, take payment and keep the records we must keep for tax and legal reasons. We do not sell it. Unless you tell us in writing that you do not want us to, we may show your finished site in our portfolio, as set out in our Terms of Service. We do not use it for advertising in any other way.

We use a few providers to run the site and the contact form:

• Our database runs on Appwrite software that we host ourselves on a virtual private server rented from IONOS. Inquiries are stored there.
• Resend delivers each inquiry to our inbox by email.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• If you hire us, your payments are processed by PayPal.
• Cloudflare Turnstile may check that the form is being used by a person. When it is switched on, your browser loads a script from Cloudflare as you start to fill in the form, and our server sends Cloudflare your check token and your IP address to confirm it.

Resend, Vercel, IONOS, Cloudflare and PayPal each have their own privacy policy for their part of the work.

Our team works from India, so your information may be accessed and processed there.

Apart from the live demos described below, the pages of this website do not set cookies and do not use your browser’s local or session storage. The website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts. Apart from the live demos, its fonts and images are served from our own domain.

Live demos

Our Work pages can open a live demo of a concept site. A demo is a page on our own domain that keeps its sample settings in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser’s site settings.

Each demo also loads photos from Unsplash and fonts from Google Fonts. Those companies see your IP address and browser type when your browser asks them for these files, and they handle that data under their own privacy policies.

Spam check

If Cloudflare Turnstile is switched on, its script runs in your browser under Cloudflare’s own privacy and cookie rules.

We keep an inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of our dealings with you.

You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time. The hashed IP address is stored with the inquiry, so it is deleted with it.

If you hire us, we keep invoices and payment records for as long as the law requires. That can mean we cannot delete them on request.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including your inquiry and, if you hire us, your project and billing details. The phone, company and current website fields on the form are optional. You can also email us instead of using the form.
